Garter Stitch Scarf

I have always wanted a really spongy loooooong scarf and this is the pattern that I have come up with. it will be about 9 feet long when complete.

Materials Needed: I am using a chunky weight yarn and size 11 straight knitting needles

I am doing mine in this color combination, 5 inches of cream, 12 inches of blue #1, 5 inches of cream, 12 inches of Blue #2, 12 inches of blue #3, 12 inches of Blue #2, 12 inches of blue #3 12 inches of blue #2, 5 inches of cream, 12 inches of Blue # 1, 5 inches of cream

Important: When you change colors like I did in my scarf you will add your new color and stop the old color on the same side each time that way you will have a back and front to your piece. I learned this the hard way and had to rip out a big piece of my scarf.
