Materials Needed: worsted weight yarn, I hook

Directions: 

Row 1 - 2dc in 3rd ch from hook, *skip 3 chs, sc in next ch, ch 3, dc in next 3 chs* repeat from *to* to last 4 chs remain, skip 3 chs, sc in last ch, turn

Row 2 - ch 3, 2dcs in 1st sc, *skip 3 dcs, sc in the top ch of the ch 3, ch 3, dc in each of the next 2 chs on previous row, dc in next sc* repeat from *to* skip last 2 dcs, sc in top of turning ch

Repeat row 2 until piece measures 12 inches.
