January Sampler Square #1

Materials Needed:  About 3 ounces of worsted weight yarn, I hook

Finished size- 12x12 inches

This pattern is worked in multiples of 2 + 1 for the starting chain, just in case you need to adjust the number of stitches

Directions:

ch 41

Row 1 - skip 1st 2 chs (counts as 1st hdc) *sl st in next ch, hdc in next ch* repeat from *to * across ending with a sl st in the last ch, turn

Row 2 - ch 2(counts as 1st hdc) sk 1st st, *sl st into next hdc, hdc in next sl st* repeat from * to ) across ending with a sl st in the top of the turning ch, turn

repeat row 2 until your piece measures 12 inches and fasten off
