January Sampler Square #2
Materials Needed: worsted weight yarn about 2 ozs, I hook

Finished Size: 12x12 inch square

This pattern is worked in multiples of 5 + 2 add 2  for the starting chain, just in case you need to adjust the number of stitches

Directions:

Note: beg ch 3 counts as 1st dc

ch 44

Row 1- (beg ch 3 counts as 1st dc), dc in 4th ch from hook, *ch 3, sk 3 chs, dc in next 2 chs* repeat across ending with the 2 dcs

Row 2 - ch 3,  *work 5dc in the 2nd ch of the ch 3 sp that was made on previous rnd* repeat across, ending with a dc in the top of the turning ch.

Row 3 - ch 3, sk 1st st, dc in next st, *ch3, skip 3 sts, dc in next 2 sts* repeat across

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until piece measure 12 inches making sure you end off with row 3
