CROCHETING INTO THE BACKSIDE OF THE CHAIN
The above picture is a chain of 8 with single crochet done into the chain. The pencil is pointing to the BACKSIDE of the chain, this is where I will put my hook next and continue to single crochet down the backside of the chain. Crocheting into the backside of the chain is what you will do in my Pink Puff Soap Saver and Cross Stitch Soap Saver Patterns.
The above is a picture of 3 sc done into the backside of the chain, I did 1 sc in each stitch on the backside. The pencil is pointing to the next stitch that my hook needs to go into. This is called the backside of the chain.
